LET'S GO FISHING@ Panguitch Lake!
Fishing is an art. Some folks are better artists than others. I believe the more art you can use to attract a fish, the more options you may have when it comes to results. Fishing is like buying stock-prior results don't guarantee future returns. Some folks like to fish the same way with the same bait every time and complain when they don't catch any, "there's just no fish out in the lake." I can assure you, there is a lot of fish out in the lake because the folks at the fish hatchery, Department of Wildlife Resources, the people behind the scenes that manage the fishery have done such a good job, the lake is probably ranked as one of the top lakes in the western United States. Please don't fish in a box, what I mean is don't use the same bait or baiting technique over and over again and expect the same results unless your technique is so good it works over and over again. I tell my clients all the time, if you were a professional baseball player, would the pitcher throw the same pitch to you every single time you are up to bat? Does a quarterback throw the ball to the same place every time in a football game. What fun is that? Maybe it might be a good idea to try to learn new ways to present bait in the water so you can be flexible when it comes to changing conditions just like professional athletes are. Sunlight or the lack thereof, ambient temperature, water temp, opacity, wind, thermoclines (where hot and cold water meet) can affect the way you present your bait. Having many techniques gives you a better chance for success, connects you with the experience on a core level, and it just makes for a whole lotta fun! The following are videos intended to help you on your next fishing expedition. Although I'm not a professional cinematographer, it is my hope you can appreciate my artistic license for describing the technique. If you don't get it the first time, try, try again. There's plenty of information there to get you started. Just head over to Panguitch Lake!
